The 45th parallel crosses the Médoc, located between Atlantic Ocean and the estuary of the Gironde, in the southwest of France.
Located in the Southwest of France, in the region of Bordeaux, the Médoc has some of the swellings of the most prestigious vineyards of red
wine.

In the country of the Bordeaux region, the wine is an art of living to discover in the course of promenades, sessions of introduction or
tasting, or again around a good table. For 2000 years, the grapevine models with order and meticulousness of the landscapes of the Bordeaux region. Present on the slightest plot for its advantageous culture, in the shady dales and the glades of pinewood, on slopes and trays, around residences and churches, up to the heart of cities and towns. Between castles and bastides, vast property and small plots, land of the Bordeaux region is the unique fruit of a climate, a topography, a geology and and a wine-growing history. In spring the green loving green in master and Ocean becomes more blue. The roses bloom (they planted them in the past near grapevines so that the parasites, attacking them first, inform the wine-growers of danger). The summer is the season of all the pleasures: those of the sea before or after the visits and tastings.
First region of indications of country of origin was controlled by France,
(A.O.C. - appellations d'origine contrôlée de
France), the Bordeaux region represents 13 % of the French vineyard and 1,5 %
of the cultivated grapevines in the world. Red, dry white, white soft or
pinkish, the wines of Bordeaux are classified in 57 names of controlled origin (43 if they do not take into account colours of the
wine) which identify the wine by the location of its region of production and constitute a quality insurance for the consumer.

Because, beyond their qualitative, historical and climatic common
denominators, the wines of Bordeaux offer a mosaic one of flavors and of due pleasures as much to the variety of the soils and
grapes, that to the mastery of the exploitation techniques of the vine and production methods of the
wine.
Every wine of Bordeaux is the fruit conjugated by a nature benefactor
and of thoroughly chosen and carried out gestures.
