Rencontre Sportive Malagasy 2007 Amerique du Nord (Canada - USA) du Samedi 30 Juin 2007 - Dimanche 1 Juillet 2007...

    RSM est un événement sportif annuel tenu chaque été parmi les citoyens malgaches résidant en Amérique du Nord. 4 équipes étaient impliquées : une équipe est de la région de Washington ( Virginie,  Maryland, Washington, Delaware), une autre équipe de la région de New York (New Jersey , New York et Connecticut) ,  la troisième équipe est le Canada et la quatrième "Out of state" le regroupement de Minneapolis, Ottawa, Toronto, St Tom.     

   This year, RSM Washington DC hosted the Recontre Sportive Malagasy or RSM, which is a Malagasy sporting event held each year in North America (Canada - the USA). This successful event was organized by the RSM Washington DC Committee. Many Malagasy citizens came to support this event, including the Chargé d' affaires of the Embassy of Madagascar to the United States, Mrs Eulalie RAVELOSOA and her husband; and the Ambassador of Madagascar to the United Nations, SEM Zina RANDRIANARIVELO RAZAFY and his wife.
    The opening ceremony for RSM 2007 started at 9:00 AM on Saturday June 30th, 2007 with the “opening speech/remark” by Madam the Chargé d' affaires of the Embassy of Madagascar in the United States, followed by a traditional dance by young women and children of Washington DC, which was then followed by the “Players Parade”. 4 teams were represented at this event: Washington DC, Tri-State New York (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut), Canada, and Out of state (regrouping of Minneapolis, Ottawa, Toronto, St Tom).
Once the parade was over, the Malagasy National Anthem was sung by Iangotiana and followed in chorus by the whole
